RENO, Nev. - The Nevada men's basketball team will head to Palo Alto, Calif., to take on the Stanford Cardinal in the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament on Wednesday, March 21. The game will tip off at 6 p.m. Pacific Time at Stanford's Maples Pavilion and will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
Nevada will sell tickets for the game at a cost of $10 for upper concourse general admission. Those tickets will go on sale to all fans starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 20 at the Link Piazzo Ticket Office at Legacy Hall or by calling (775) 348-PACK (7225) with all seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. All tickets purchased through the Nevada ticket office will be available for pickup at will call at Maples Pavilion on gameday.
Wolf Pack fans can also purchase tickets online at www.gostanford.com ( click here for direct link) and may be able to secure better seating in the lower concourse through this option. Fans can also call 1-800-STANFORD for more information.
The Nevada Alumni Association will hold a pregame party for Wolf Pack fans in Palo Alto from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Old Pro (541 Ramona Street, Palo Alto, CA 94301). More information is available here.
Silver and Blue Outfitters will also provide a bus trip for Wolf Pack fans wishing to travel to Palo Alto for the game. The cost is $50 per person for transportation only (fans need to purchase their own tickets) and will depart at 11 a.m. on Wednesday with a return at approximately 1 a.m. Thursday. The trip is available for purchase online by clicking here or by calling (775) 448-9653 through 4 p.m. Tuesday. Reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis with a maximum of two buses making the trip.
