Final Stats
EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team dominated Seattle University 6-1 Saturday in a neutral-site contest.
The win moved Nevada to 2-2, while Seattle fell to 6-7.
The Wolf Pack jumped on the Redhawks, taking two of the three doubles matches and the doubles point.
Wins came at positions No. 1 and No. 3. At one, Emma Verberne and Juliette Legendre won 8-3. At three, Sophie Stevens and Gabriela Eufrasio won 8-5.
In singles play, Michelle Okhremchuk earned her team-leading 14th overall singles win. Three of those have come in her first four dual-season contests. 8-2 in her last 10 matches, Okhremchuk is poised to play out of the No. 1 singles position for some time.
Nevada lost only one three sets in singles play, getting wins from Verberne, Legendre, Stevens and Rymma Maslova. Verberene and Legendre lost only two games each in straight-set wins.
Nevada will take on Oregon Sunday at 9 a.m. to close out this weekend's action.
