Day One Results 
        LONG BEACH, Calif. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team opened its Spring by        winning twice on day one of the Beach Tennis Winter Invitational Friday.
        Michelle Okhremchuk defeated        Anais Dallara of host Long Beach State 6-2, 6-3. On the doubles court, Sophie Stevens and Gabriella        Eufrasio defeated Maria Pistalu and Amber Walker of Cal State Northridge 9-7.
        The three-day event will be scored as a tournament, with players competing in        round-robin format. On Friday, the Wolf Pack took on singles players from Long Beach State        and doubles teams from Cal State Northridge. Saturday, the Pack will meet Loyola Marymount        in doubles play in the morning and Cal State Northridge in singles play in the        afternoon.
        Emma Verberne pushed the nation's        122nd ranked player in their match on Friday, falling 6-4, 6-4 to Rachel Manasse. Action        was tightly contested in doubles play as well, as Okhremchuk and Rymma Maslova fell 8-6 to Nigora        Sirojiddinova and Anna Yang.
        Maslova joined Nevada at the semester break, competing in her first collegiate tennis        match Friday.
        Matches will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, an hour later than originally expected.
