The University of Nevada rifle team will travel to Oxford, Mississippi for a match in the Ole Miss Invitational. The match will be the second of the year for the team as they opened up the season with a win over the University of Texas-El Paso and Columbus State Saturday in El Paso, Texas last weekend.
In that double-dual match, Nevada won the match scoring 4,622 points while UTEP and Columbus State totaled 4,600 and 4,582 points, respectively. Nevada was led by Dempster Christenson in air rifle scoring 588 points. In smallbore, Nevada was led by Christenson with 577 points and Cliff Little with 576 points.
