Cole Tosses Seven Shutout Innings, Named WAC Pitcher of the Week: Jeremy Cole, a senior from Rocklin, Calif., pitched seven shutout innings in a game that ended after eight innings as Nevada was up 10-0 over Sacramento State (5/15). Cole allowed just six hits and struck out a career-high seven batters with only two walks and only allowed two Sacramento State batters to reached third base. Cole allowed two hits in a single inning only one time, which also marked the only time that two Hornet hitters reached base in the same inning.

Stassi Owns Third Best Average in the WAC: Brock Stassi has the third highest batting average in the conference at .383 ... Wolf Pack-Aces Exhibition Raises $15,000 For Dugout Club: The University of Nevada and Reno Aces Baseball Club played the Silver City Classic, an exhibition game at Aces Ballpark Tuesday Apr. 5. The game marked the second year in a row the two teams played an exhibition contest just prior to the start of the Aces season and for the second time $15,000 was raised for the Nevada Dugout Club. The Aces won this year's game 9-3 and last year's 11-1.
