NEW YORK (April 29, 2011) – Linebacker Dontay Moch was selected in the third round, 66th overall, by the Cincinnati Bengals at the 2011 NFL Draft tonight at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, N.Y.

Moch turned heads at the 2011 NFL Combine by running a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash, the fastest time ever recorded by a defensive lineman, and recording a 42-inch vertical jump at the Combine. Moch earned All-WAC First Team honors in 2010 and was named the WAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2009. In 2010, Moch registered 22 tackles for loss to tie the single-season WAC record and bring his career total to 63 tackles for loss, the most of any active player in the nation and setting a WAC record in the category.

In 2010, the Bengals finished with a 4-12 record. Cincinnati selected wide receiver A.J. Green in the first round with the fourth overall pick. In the second round, the Bengals picked quarterback Andy Dalton with the 34th overall selection.
