RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada softball team will travel to San Jose, Calif. to take on the San Jose State Spartans in a three-game WAC series this weekend.
Nevada is 10-28 (1-11 WAC) on the year, and is looking to rebound from three losses to conference leader New Mexico State. The Wolf Pack is fighting for a spot in the season ending WAC Championships, which will be played in Fresno, Calif., from May 11-14.
San Jose State is currently 16-29 (2-10 WAC) and is another team fighting for a spot in the season ending tournament. The Spartans have dropped four games in a row coming into the weekend's action, including three games against Fresno State last weekend.
