Game Four at Fresno State Canceled: The Wolf Pack's final game of its WAC-opening series at Fresno State was canceled due to the passing of University of Nevada President Milton Glick.
Stassi Becoming an On-Base Machine: Stassi drew six walks and posted a .667 on-base percentage vs. UNLV (3/4-3/6) and has reached base in all but two of the Pack's 31 games this season ... Stassi has the fifth highest on base percentage in the WAC at .466 and ranks 17th in hitting with a .317 average ... the 2010 second team All-WAC utility honoree has drawn 25 walks and been hit by four pitches this season ... his 25 walks are fifth best in the conference ... his 25 walks to 22 strikeouts is the best ratio on the team.
Kohan Heating Up at the Plate: Junior Joe Kohan has been hot at the plate as of late and has the ninth best average in the WAC at .360 ... his three triples are tied for the most in the conference ... he also ranks seventh in slugging (.559), 10th in hits (40), eighth in total bases (62), sixth in hits per game (1.29), second in triples per game (0.10), and is leading all hitters in WAC play with a .583 average in three games ... Wolf Pack-Aces Exhibition Raises $15,000 For Dugout Club: The University of Nevada and Reno Aces Baseball Club played the Silver City Classic, an exhibition game at Aces Ballpark Tuesday Apr. 5. The game marked the second year in a row the two teams played an exhibition contest just prior to the start of the Aces season and for the second time $15,000 was raised for the Nevada Dugout Club. The Aces won this year's game 9-3 and last year's 11-1.
