STOCKTON, Calif. - The University of Nevada women's tennis team won its fifth consecutive match Sunday, defeating Pacific on the road 4-3.

The victory, which was come from behind in nature, moved the Wolf Pack to 10-9 (4-1 WAC). Pacific fell to 8-10 (4-3 Big West).

The opening point of the match went to the Tigers after they won two of the three doubles matches contested.  Their victories came at positions No. 1 and No. 2.

After falling behind early, Nevada relied on a key win from Michelle Okhremchuk and strong play from the bottom half of in singles lineup.  Okhremchuk won at No. 2 singles, defeating Julia Hansen in straight sets.

Nevada's three other singles wins came from players at No. 4, 5 and 6 including true freshman Gabriela Eufrasio in the final spot.  The clinching match came at position No. 5, where senior Aodhnait Lombard defeated Susan Te in three sets.

Lombard's 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (6) victory was a microcosm of the match.  She came from behind and won in thrilling fashion, defeating Te in a third set tiebreaker.

Nevada will take on Louisiana Tech, Friday, April 22 to close out its season. The WAC Championships will follow, April 28-30 in Boise, Idaho.
