Nevada enters week seven of the 2011 season with it’s first Western Athletic Conference series of the year ... The Wolf Pack will travel to Boise, Idaho to take on Boise State at the Broncos’ Mountain Cove Field ... The teams are scheduled for a single game on Friday at 2 p.m. and will play a doublheader on Saturday beginning at noon (all times Pacific) ... Nevada enters WAC play at 9-17 on the year but on an upswing as the Wolf Pack has won three straight and four of its last five ... The Wolf Pack is 4-2 all-time in the short history between the teams and Nevada swept three games from the Broncos the last time these teams met in Boise in 2009 ... All three games will be carried on ESPN Radio 1450 AM in Northern Nevada ... Live stats for all eight games are available free at www.nevadawolfpack.com.

Nevada is picked to finish sixth in the seven-team Western Athletic Conference race ... No Wolf Pack player was picked to the preseason All-WAC team ... Nevada returned nine players from last year’s team that went 17-28 overall and 4-16 (seventh) in the Western Athletic Conference ... The nine returners include six players who were starters in 2010 in Mallary Darby, Megan Fincher, Lauren Lastrapes, Britton Murdock, Danielle Patrick and Kortnee Wiley ... Nevada has more newcomers (11) than returnering players in 2011 ... The Wolf Pack has two players on its roster who will redshirt this year due to injury in sophomore outfielder Sam Puzey (shoulder) and freshman outfielder Sydney Jones (hip).

In 2009, Wolf Pack radio debuted on the radio in Northern Nevada and the radio presence continued in 2010. A select number of games will again be broadcast this year on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM and
Chad Hartley will have the call. The regular season broadcast schedule has yet to be finalized. All WAC Tournament and any additional postseason games will also be carried.
