The Nevada football team will open spring drills next week in leading up to the annual Silver and Blue Spring Game on April 16 at Mackay Stadium.
The Wolf Pack is allowed 15 practices, including the spring game itself, during the spring session. All new recruits who enrolled at the university in January are eligible to take part in spring drills.
More information on spring drills will be available early next week.
Nevada is coming off a historic 2010 season in which the Wolf Pack went 13-1, won the Western Athletic Conference championship and beat Boston College in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. Nevada finished No. 11 in the nation in the final 2010 polls.
