RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada softball team’s doubleheader against UC Davis on Wednesday has been postponed due to weather concerns as forecasts for Davis tomorrow call for an 80 percent chance of rain.
The games will be made up next week as Nevada will travel to Davis on Tuesday, March 8.
Nevada will be back in action on Friday as the Wolf Pack will open up its home schedule with Boston College and DePaul come to Reno for the Wolf Pack Classic beginning Friday at Hixson Park. Eight games are scheduled for the weekend. On Friday, DePaul and Boston College will battle at 10:30 a.m. Nevada will then take on Boston College at 12:45 and the Pack will turn around and play DePaul on 3 p.m. Action continues over the weekend with five games on Saturday and Sunday.
