Invitational Results 
The University of Nevada rifle team continued its strong season start with an Ole Miss Invitational win on Saturday. The team won the tournament scoring 2,355 points. Rounding out the top three in the Invitational were Ole Miss with 2,341 points and Jacksonville State who scored 2,340 points.
Olivia Pennell and Cliff Little led the team in air rifle with scores of 593 and 590 respectively. Little and Chelsie Hata placed in the top ten in small bore and air rifle. Dempster Christenson also placed in the top ten in air rifle.
"I was pleased to see the team continue its impressive start to our year." Head Coach Fred Harvey said. "With our tournament totals, this marks the second highest score we have ever shot in the past 16 years."
The team has the weekend off and will travel to Charleston, South Carolina next week for a match at The Citadel.
