Friday marked a variance from the daily routine for the Wolf Pack. After the normal schedule of breakfast, team meetings and position meetings in the morning, the team and staff attended the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl Kickoff Luncheon at the Westin St. Francis. The event was a two-hour showcase of the bowl, the cause, the sponsors and the team and it featured local sports personality Joe Fonzi interviewing each team's head coach and two players on the main stage.
After the luncheon, the team went to Laney College in Oakland for the final time, getting a full practice. After a quiet team dinner at the hotel, the players had the evening to themselves before bed check.
