After taking in the city by the bay on day one, the team began day two with meetings and practice. After getting their work in, the young men were treated to an inside look one of the most famous prisons in America, Alcatraz. A short boat ride out to the island on which the facility sits was followed by a guided tour. The team was shown the ins and outs of a prison that has housed some of the nation's most notorious criminals since it opened in 1934 including Al Capone, who spent 4 ½ years there. A few players spent 30 seconds locked in a cell on the solitary block, while others explored the cells along Broadway or Michigan Avenue, where Capone was held. Other sites on the tour included the prison hospital and the exercise yard. After arriving back at the hotel, the team sat down for dinner. A chance to bond, to talk about the day, this gave the Pack a chance to reflect on another one of the events it is lucky enough to participate in while at the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.
