Diver Grace Huang has been named the Nevada Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 4-10.
Huang led a sweep of the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events in Nevada’s double-dual meet against Cal State East Bay and UC Davis Saturday. Huang, a two-time Verizon WAC Diver of the Week, claimed the 1-meter title with a score of 301.13 and sealed her win on the 3-meter with a score of 306.45.
Huang has managed a top-three in each of Nevada’s dual meets this season. The Kaohsiung City, Taiwan native also led the Wolf Pack at the Wildcat Diving Invitational, where she finished in the top-ten on both boards while facing competition from No. 1 Stanford, No. 6 Southern California, No. 7 Arizona, No. 16 Wisconsin and No. 23 San Diego State.
The Nevada Student-Athlete of the Week is presented by Wells Fargo. Each Monday a new athlete will be chosen.
