RENO, Nev. – The Wolf Pack Coaches’ Show begins today at the new home for the show, The Wolf Den across the street from the University of Nevada campus, the athletic department announced today.
Now in its third year, the Wolf Pack Coaches Show features coaches from Nevada athletics along with select student-athletes joining host Ryan Radtke and provides inside access to the Wolf Pack sports programs.
During the fall, fans can listen to football coach Chris Ault along with coaches and players, recap the Wolf Pack’s previous game and look ahead to the next opponent. The show will be broadcast live from the new Wolf Den, Nevada’s home for the Awful-Awful burger, and fans are invited to come to the restaurant for the show, which runs from noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday. The Wolf Den is located at 1305 N. Virginia Street, across from the Virginia Street Gym on campus.
The show is broadcast live on ESPN Radio 630 AM, the flagship station for Nevada athletics and a replay is available every Thursday at 7 p.m. on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM.
The Wolf Pack Radio Network, reaching 2.2 million fans through statewide coverage, broadcasts every game for football, men's basketball and baseball, as well as women's basketball and select softball games. It is managed and overseen by Wolf Pack Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports the multimedia rights holder for Nevada Athletics.
In addition to the Wolf Pack Coaches' Show, the Wolf Pack Radio Network features a three-minute Wolf Pack Daily Show featuring the latest news and headlines from Nevada athletics. Fans can catch this show each week day, at approximately 2:20 p.m. on ESPN Radio 630 AM and Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM.
Radtke returns for his third season behind the mic for the Wolf Pack and he will call the regular season games for football and men’s basketball. Former Wolf Pack great and Nevada Hall of Fame quarterback Chris Vargas will serve as the color analyst for the Wolf Pack Radio Network. Games can be heard on ESPN 630 AM in Reno; Fox Sports Radio 920 AM in Las Vegas; KELK 1240 AM in Elko; KHWG 750 AM in Fallon; and KSVL 92.3 FM in Yerington.
