Former Nevada stars Luke Babbitt and Armon Johnson had a chance to travel to Portland, Ore., last week for their rookie press conference with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Babbitt and Johnson met with the Blazers' staff and the Portland media and then had a chance to put on their new uniforms and see their new home, the Rose Garden.

Babbitt was the 16th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, which ties for the highest draft pick in school history, while Johnson went to the Blazers as the 34th overall pick. Babbitt and Johnson are the fifth and sixth Wolf Pack players to be drafted in the last seven years.

Both players will head back to Portland next week to prepare for the 2010 NBA Summer League. They will play five games July 11-18 at Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas on Portland's team, which will be coached by Trail Blazers assistant coach Kaleb Canales.
