Chris Garcia is this week's Wolf Pack Athlete of the Week, presented by McDonald's for the week of Mar. 22-28.
Garcia, a senior out of Sparks, Nevada (Reed HS), pitched the Wolf Pack baseball team to a 5-3 victory over #18 UC Irvine (13-7), in the first game of a three-game series at Peccole Park Friday afternoon. Garcia (2-1) won his second game of the season allowing just the two runs on seven hits in six innings on the mound. He leads the Pack with a 2.31 ERA in five starts.
The Wolf Pack will play host to the UNLV Rebels on Tuesday afternoon at Peccole Park. Game time is 4:00 pm and can be seen live online with coverage beginning at 3:45.
