RENO, Nev. -  After tough losses in the semifinals of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday, the University of Nevada men's and women's basketball teams will await possible postseason invitations on Sunday and Monday.

Nevada officials have been in contact with the National Invitation Tournament, the College Basketball Invitational and the CollegeInsider.com Tournament as well as the Women's National Invitation Tournament and the Women's Basketball Invitational. Due to scheduling conflicts, the Wolf Pack will not be able to host a first-round game at Lawlor Events Center but would accept the opportunity to play on the road in the postseason in the first round and could return home in later rounds.

ESPNU will announce the 32-team bracket for the 2010 NIT live at 6 p.m. Pacific Time, while the brackets for the 16-team CBI and the 16-team CIT will be announced later in the evening on Sunday.

The Wolf Pack women could earn the WAC's automatic bid to the WNIT if regular-season WAC champion Fresno State earns an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Nevada could also receive an at-large WNIT invitation.

The WNIT will announce its 64-team bracket between 8-9 p.m. on Monday night online at www.womensnit.com, while the WBI will release its 16-team field after that.

In the event either Nevada team is selected to play in the postseason, the Wolf Pack Athletics Department will announce ticket information for fans who wish to travel in the first round as soon as it is available.
