CSU BAKERSFIELD SERIES NOT ON RADIO, HOMES GAMES ON THE AIR:  The three-game series at CSU Bakersfield will not be on radio as there are no broadcast facilites at Hardt Field.  The Sonoma State and San Francisco State games next week will be once again be carried live on Fox Sports Radio 1450 AM with Don Marchand calling all the action.

FREE STREAMING FOR SONOMA STATE AND SF STATE:  RENO, Nev. - For a limited time, University of Nevada fans will be able to view streamed video of Wolf Pack baseball games for free. The feature, which usually costs $4.95/24 hours, $8.95/month or $59.95/year, gives Pack fans the opportunity to never miss a game. The games can be viewed by visiting www.nevadawolfpack.com, and clicking on the "live audio and video" option located under the multimedia tab.

The Pack baseball team's home games against Sonoma State on Tuesday, March 16 and San Francisco State on Wednesday, March 17 be streamed for free.

Pack to Play Aces In Exhibition Contest:  The Reno Aces Baseball Club and the University of Nevada baseball team will play an exhibition game at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6 at Aces Ballpark, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the University of Nevada Dugout Club.  Tickets for this special event will go on-sale March 11 at the Aces Ballpark Box Office or by calling (775) 334-7000. Ticket prices will be $13 for adults and $7 for children.

TEAM:  Head coach Gary Powers is in his 28th season and is the longest tenured coach in the history of Nevada athletics ... Powers won his 800th game at Nevada last season when the Pack defeated Oregon 2-1 on March 15, 2009...Powers is 13 games from coaching his 1500th at Nevada...Nevada ranks second in hitting (.326), third in pitching (5.06 ERA) and third in fielding (.965) in the WAC ...Nevada opened the season with eight in a row on the road and posted a 5-3 mark...15 of the Pack's first 21 games will be played away from Reno...Nevada was picked to finish 6th in the preseason coaches poll.

AT THE PLATE:  DH/P-Brock Stassi was named WAC Hitter and Collegebaseballinsider.com West Region Player of the Week for Feb. 15-21 after he hit .818 (9-for-11) with 6 runs scored, a double, 2 home runs and 5 RBI...Stassi had hits in six consecutive at bats in games 1 and 2 of the Santa Clara series to start the season...Stassi leads the WAC in hitting (.485) and on base percentage (.622) ...Stassi's first hit of 2009 and 2010 were home runs...SS-Kevin Rodland, CF-Westley Moss, 1B-Shaun Kort and OF-Brian Barnett have started all 11 games this season and hit 1, 2, 3 and 4 in the lineup...Barnett is the only one that has not started at the same position playing both left and right field...Rodland leads the WAC in stolen bases (9-for-9) and hit by pitch (5)...Rodland is batting .421(8-for-19) with 11 runs scored, 3 RBI, 3 doubles, 2 triples, 7 walks and 6 stolen bases during a current 6-game hit streak that is the second longest active streak on the team and tied with Barnett for the second longest of the season...Barnett hit his first home runs for Nevada in games 1 and 2 of the UCA series...Kort leads the Pack with 3 home runs which is tied for 7th in the WAC...IF/OF-Nick Leid has started the last 6 games, one at second base, two in left field and three at third base...Leid is batting .500(10-for-20) with 7 runs scored, 3 doubles, a home run and 7 RBI during a current 5-game hit streak which is the fourth longest on the team and third longest active streak on the team...3B-Garrett Yrigoyen has started 8-of-11 games at third base...Moss hit his first home run at any level of baseball in game 2 at Pacific (2/26)...Moss is batting .600(18-for-30) with 7 runs scored, a home run and 5 RBI during a season and team-high, 7-game hit streak which is three short of his career-high...2B-Joe Kohan has started 3 games at second base...OF-Ronnie Mitchell was 3-for-5, with two doubles in his first collegiate start in right field in the final game of the Pacific series...Mitchell has taken over as the left hand hitting right fielder in his first season at Nevada...freshman 2B-Cullen Mahoney has started 6-for-11 games at second base playing primarily vs. right handed pitchers...C-Michael Turay has started 8-of-11 games behind the plate...2009 1st-team All-WAC DH-Nick Melino collected his first hit of the season in game 2 vs. UCA as a pinch hitter...OF-Brett Hart returned to the team last week after missing 4 games due to illness and played in all 3 games vs. UCA starting the final game in right field...Hart was 4-for-4 with 3 RBI in his first start of the year at Santa Clara(2/20).

ON THE MOUND:  RHP-Beau Witsoe and LHP-Brock Stassi lead the Pack with 2 wins each...LHP-Chris Garcia and Witsoe have each started 3 games...RHP-Jeremy Cole earned a save at Santa Clara (2/20) pitching 3 innings of relief...Garcia (2.20ERA), Cole (2.25) and Stassi (2.55) ranked 3rd, 4th and 8th respectively in the WAC in ERA...Garcia (.233), Cole (.244) and Stassi (.258) are 4th, 6th and 8th respectively in the WAC in opponent batting average...RHP-Tyler Graham allowed his first runners to reach base vs. UCA(5/6) and blew the save opportunity but the Pack rallied as he got the win...Twice Graham has recorded two inning saves this season at Santa Clara (2/19) and at UC Davis (3/1)...Graham's 2 saves is second in the WAC...Stassi is tied for first in the WAC with 17.2 innings pitched while Garcia's 16.1 is tied for 9th...Graham and Cole are tied for second in the WAC with 3 games finished...Garcia earned the win at Pacific allowing one run on five hits and struck out seven which is one of his career high...Cole and RHP-Jayson McClaren  lead the team 4 appearances...RHP-Rickey Denham worked in the rotation the first two weekends but has been moved to the bullpen...RHP-Tom Jameson earned a start the first weekend of the season but has since moved the the bullpen.
