Why did you choose Nevada?
I didn't really know what to expect since I haven't been to the US ever before. I liked Coach Elias' philosophy of training. I also wanted to travel and visit new place, meet new people and that was a great opportunity for that.
What has been a highlight of your career at Nevada?
I haven't met my expectations for my career here. It's been a rough journey, but I think a memorable highlight from my carrier was my first indoor season when I was second and fifth at the 5km, 3km at the WAC indoor, coming straight from the airplane and not really knowing anything about US system.
What are your goals for this season?
Finally get close to my PR for steeplechase, which is 10.17, get to regionals, and score many points at WAC outdoor championships. Also, enjoy myself since it's the last season for me.
What meet are you most looking forward to this year?
I don't have my favorite meet, but I like to run at UCLA, or at Berkley. And of course, WAC outdoor championships.
