Why did you choose Nevada?
I chose Nevada because Reno is almost a second home town to me, I loved the campus, they had the program I wanted to major and minor in, and I really liked Cody (My event coach). He made me feel welcome.
What has been a highlight of your career at Nevada?
My highlight so far, since I'm only a freshman, is being able to travel and compete in the meets. However my most proud moment so far is making it to the long jump finals and bettering my personal record in the shot put in Boise.
What are your goals for this season?
My goal for this season is to be able to compete at the WAC Indoor and Outdoor meet, and actually compete with the other athletes in my events. I would like to PR in high jump and long jump in outdoor season.
What meet are you most looking forward to this year?
I'm looking forward to show everyone what I can do and that I do have potential, and I would like to reach my potential. A freshman from a small town can surprise people....I want to be that person.
