Why did you decide to come to the University of Nevada?

Before I came here I was at the United States Air Force Academy Prep School and when I left there this was the first school that got in contact with me. I came up here, had a visit, liked the whole coaching staff and the whole atmosphere, and it was just a done deal after that.  

What was it like to be appointed to the United States Air Force Prep School?

It was tough, it got really redundant. We used to do the same thing everyday. The military lifestyle, it just wasn't for me. Playing for the basketball team there was a good experience, I'm glad I went.

When did you start playing basketball?

When I was 7 years old.

What is your favorite basketball memory?

Making it to the CIF Championship, even though we didn't come out victorious, we should have though.

If you weren't playing basketball, what sport would you play?

Probably football, my dad played football at Northwestern.

Where did you grow up? And what is the best thing about your hometown?

Rancho Cucamonga, California. I liked it a lot, I lived in Mission Viejo for a while and then I moved to Rancho Cucamonga. I liked it a little better out there. The whole community, it was kind of a new area I was living in. The houses were pretty nice and that's where my best friend lives too.

Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?

I listen to music. Just focus; kind of go over what I'm going to do in the game in my head, just thinking it over.

What do you do when you're not playing basketball?

When I'm not playing basketball I'm usually hanging out with my roommates.

Who is your favorite NBA player?

Ray Allen, I've liked him since I was young just because I've always played kind of similar to him and I just like his demeanor on the floor as well.

What is your favorite part about the game?

I like distributing the basketball, I like seeing my other teammates succeed on the floor as well. I'm definitely not a very selfish player.

What do you like most about Nevada?

I like the whole coaching staff and all the players. We have great chemistry, that's why I think we are going to go a long way.

What is the most interesting thing that you want Wolf Pack fans to know about you?

Most of my family is from Ohio, Dayton and Akron.
