With the win, No. 21 Nevada …
-    Improved to 9-1 on the season, 499-435-33 overall (104th season) and 119-95 as an FBS school.
-    Coach Chris Ault improved to 215-97-1 in his 26-year career.
-    Narrowed the gap in the all-time series to 24-17-1.

PACK WINS THIRD STRAIGHT OVER ‘DOGS: Nevada won its third straight game over Fresno State. The Pack won last year, 52-14, in Reno and beat the Bulldogs in 2008 in Fresno, 41-28. It’s Nevada’s longest win streak in the series since the Pack won the first four games ever played between the teams, from 1923-26. Nevada trails in the all-time series 24-17-1 but has won four of the last six meetings.

KAEPERNICK SETS ANOTHER NEVADA RECORD: With a pair of rushing touchdowns, Colin Kaepernick became Nevada’s all-time leader in career rushing touchdowns. Kaepernick now has 54 rushing TDs in his career and he moved past Chris Lemon (53, 1996-99) for the top spot. Kaepernick is also tied for the school’s record in career passing touchdowns (78, tied with Eric Beavers).
With the two rushing scores and 54 for his career, Kaepernick moved into a tied for third-place all-time in WAC history with former TCU great and NFL star LaDanian Tomlinson

KAEPERNICK OVER 100 AGAIN: Kaepernick went over the 100-yard mark in rushing for the 15th time in his career and the fourth time this season. Nevada leads all teams with 42 career 100-yard games amongst its active players.
Kaepernick also moved past Chance Kretschmer for fifth place on Nevada’s all-time rushing list. He entered the game with 3,699 career yards and he now has 3,852 for his career. Kretschmer ran for 3,782 in his illustrious career.

CAREER DAY FROM SHEPHERD: Senior wideout Malcolm Shepherd had his best day in the Silver and Blue. Shepherd caught seven passes for 68 yards. Both were career highs.

BALL SETS KICK RETURN RECORD: Mike Ball is just a sophomore but he is already Nevada’s career kick return leader. Ball entered the game 148 yards shy of Paul Williams (1,339 yards, 1975-77). Ball recorded 160 kickoff return yards on six returns to move into the top spot in just his second year at Nevada with 1,351 yards.

COMEBACK WINS: Nevada’s come-from behind victory was the 33rd of head coach Chris Ault’s career. The comeback victory was the third of Kaepernick’s career and all three have come on the road: 2008 at Louisiana Tech (17 points); 2009 at Utah State (10 points); 2010 at Fresno State (six points).

SCORE EARLY, SCORE OFTEN: Nevada the ball on its opening possession and went down the field 69 yards in just four plays, scoring with a 47-yard run by Colin Kaepernick.
Nevada also scored touchdowns in all four quarters for the eighth time this season. Nevada has scored touchdowns in 36 of its 40 quarters played this season.

ET CETERA: Nevada won the toss and deferred to the second half … Brandon Wimberly caught four passes for 47 yards passes and extended his streak of consecutive games with a catch to 23 (all 23 games in his career) … Safety Dean Faddis started his third straight game and fourth of his career … Chris Barker started his 23rd consecutive games (all 23 of his career) … Nevada opened offensively in a double tight end set with Zach Sudfeld getting his third career start … Nevada won the turnover battle, gaining two fumbles and giving up just an interception … Ryan Coulson recorded two sacks and was also credited with a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

QUARTERBACK CLUB: This week’s Quarterback Club will again be held at Peppermill. Ault will review last week's game and go over game film at each game. He will also introduce players from the team and hold a question and answer session with the fans. The luncheons are open to the public. Doors at the Peppermill will open at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon program begins at noon.  Luncheon cost is $17 at the door. The room will be announced the day of the luncheon. The 2010 Quarterback Club Luncheons will be held each Monday following Nevada football games with luncheons scheduled for Sept. 13, 20, 27; Oct. 4, 11, 18; and Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.
