RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada will continue its series with Boise State in 2011 as the schools have agreed upon a one-year contract for a non-conference game.

Nevada will travel to Boise to face the Broncos on Oct. 1 next season. Boise State will be in its first season in the Mountain West and Nevada will be in its final year in the WAC before moving to the MWC in 2012.

“It’s important to continue this series because we have enjoyed a long history of competition with Boise State,” said Nevada athletics director Cary Groth. "The addition of Boise State creates an attractive and competitive schedule for 2011."

Nevada and Boise State have met 36 times since 1971 with the 37th meeting scheduled for Nov. 26 at Mackay Stadium.

Nevada is currently scheduled to play at home against New Mexico and UNLV and road games against Oregon and Texas Tech in 2011. The Pack will play five non-conference games and a seven-game conference schedule in its final season in the WAC.
