RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada swimming and diving team will travel to California for back-to-back road meets this weekend.  The Wolf Pack swimmers will face Pacific and UC Davis in a double-dual scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. Friday in Stockton, Calif.  The Nevada swimmers and divers will then travel to Fresno, Calif. for a dual meet against Fresno State Saturday at 12 p.m.  Fans can follow the Nevada vs. Fresno State meet at nevadawolfpack.com. 

The Wolf Pack enters the weekend after a fourth place finish at the George Haines Invitational in Stanford, Calif. Oct. 15 and a loss to San Jose State Oct. 16.  Sophomore Mengjiao Mi (Beijing, China) led Nevada at the George Haines Invitational, taking first in her heat and second overall in the 500-yard freestyle.  Mi, Chavisa Thaveesupsoonthorn (So., Bangkok, Thailand) and Gabby Guieb (So., Seattle, Wash.) were the Wolf Pack's top swimmers against San Jose State. 

Nevada's diving corps continues to record strong scores.  Freshman Grace Huang (Kaohsiung City, Taiwan) has taken first on the 1-meter and the 3-meter in the team's first two meets of the season.  Junior Aniesa Debaji and senior Heather Ramirez have also turned in strong performances for the Wolf Pack divers. 

Nevada will return to Lombardi Pool Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. to face Nebraska.  The meet is free and open to the public.
