Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year

The Wolf Pack Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year is given to the student athlete in each sport who fully utilizes the strength and conditioning program in all its facets to maximize their athletic performance, excel in their respective sport, and exemplifies the work ethic one would expect in a championship athlete. One recipient is chosen by the athlete's peers from a select group of nominees.

Wolf Pack Strength and Conditioning Alpha Award

The Wolf Pack Strength and Conditioning Alpha Award is the marquis award of the strength and conditioning department and is given to the top male and female Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year at the University of Nevada. Therefore, only those who have won the Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year award for their respective sport will be nominated and, much as the Alpha Wolf, the individual who is honored with this award must display the leadership, tenacity, and character worthy of such a title.
