RENO, Nev. In the event that the University of Nevada men’s basketball team earns a postseason invitation and is selected to host a game in the National Invitation Tournament or the College Basketball Invitational, the Wolf Pack Athletics Department will begin selling tickets on Monday morning.
The Wolf Pack has put in bids to host a first-round game in the NIT and the CBI on Tuesday, March 17. Ticket prices will be $25 for floor seats, $20 for lower reserved, $18 for upper reserved, $15 for behind the basket and corner reserved and $5 for University of Nevada students with a valid student ID.
If the Wolf Pack men earn an invitation to host a game in either tournament, tickets for lower concourse season ticketholders will go on sale at 9 a.m. Monday morning in the Legacy Hall Ticket Office. Donors who have seats in the lower concourse will have until 5 p.m. Monday to secure their seats.
All tickets in the upper concourse (rows 21 and higher) will go on sale to the general public at the Lawlor Events Center Ticket Office, online at www.tickets.com or by calling 1-800-225-2277 starting at 10 a.m. Monday morning. Any lower concourse tickets not purchased by season ticket holders will also become available at the Lawlor Events Center box office and via tickets.com following the 5 p.m. Monday deadline.
Student tickets for the NIT or CBI will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Monday morning at the Legacy Hall Ticket Office.
ESPNU will announce the bracket for the 2009 NIT live at 6 p.m. Pacific Time, while the bracket for the CBI will be announced later in the evening on Sunday.
In the event the Nevada women’s basketball team is chosen for the Women’s NIT, the Nevada athletics department will announce ticket information as soon as it is available. The bracket for the Women’s NIT will be announced on Monday, March 16.
