The Wolf Pack Dugout Club is a fund raising organization originally started by former Wolf Pack baseball players to provide additional revenue support for the baseball program at the University of Nevada. All revenues that are generated by the membership drive and the "Bobby Dolan" Baseball Dinner, which is now a Dugout Club sponsored and directed event, go directly to the baseball program to be used for improvements and upkeep of the baseball stadium as well as assisting the program in providing the same equipment and training devises that most Division 1 programs have for their players.
The generosity of the Dugout Club membership the past few years has made it possible for the baseball program to make many significant improvements and upgrades to the facilities at Peccole Park, (installing Field Turf playing surface, replacing entire outfield and sideline fencing, installation of new bullpens, building new restrooms and shower areas in players locker room, construction of special seating area for Dugout Club members, construction of indoor hitting and training facility, construction of new coaches locker room and equipment storage building, installation of new state of the art scoreboard and message board), which has significantly enhanced and improved the park for players, coaches and fans alike!
"Without the support and generosity of the members of our Dugout Club, we would not have a chance to becompetitive in the college baseball world today! All of our players, past and present, and coaches are so grateful, appreciative and thankful for this fine group's involvement, generosity and effort toward enhancing our daily experiences representatives of the University of Nevada. We sincerely hope that you will seriously consider assisting our efforts to constantly try to provide our student/athletes with the very best facilities and equipment available for them by becoming truly valued and appreciated member of the 2010 Dugout Club!"
