October 8-15

Oct. 18, 1919 - In a memorable 7-1-1 season during which Nevada outscored its opponents by a 419-39 margin, two of the school's most memorable games occurred. On Oct. 18, 1919, under coach R.E. Courtright, Nevada defeated Pacific in resounding fashion.  The final score of 134-0 still ranks as the largest victory in school history. The Wolf Pack's second-most lopsided victory was achieved a mere three days prior to the defeat of Pacific.  On Oct. 15, Nevada defeated Mare Island Naval Base by 102 points, while posting a shutout of the cadets.
