Reno, Nev. -- Three members of the University of Nevada women's tennis were selected this weekend by the Western Athletic Conference for the All-WAC teams.
Sophomore Maria Mizyuk was named first-team All-WAC in singles for the second year in a row. She went 17-15 overall this year, playing mostly out of the No. 1 position for the Wolf Pack.
Junior Caroline Bailly earned All-WAC honors in singles for the third year in a row. This year, she was named to the second team after going 17-9 overall and 12-6 in dual play, primarily out of the No. 2 position.
Mizyuk and Bailly also were named the first-team in doubles after another impressive season. They went 17-4 on the year and are ranked No. 43 in the nation by the ITA.
“I am very excited that Caroline and Maria received these honors because they truly are deserved,” third-year coach Sylvain Malroux said.
