RENO, Nev. The University of Nevada is offering discounted children’s tickets for this weekend’s games against Hawai`i at Christina M. Hixson Softball Park. Children who are middle-school age or younger will get in for half price $2 instead of $4.
Nevada, ranked No. 24 in the nation, will play host to to No. 16 Hawai`i in a Western Athletic Conference showdown. The three-game series will feature a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. The final game of the series is Sunday at 2 p.m.
This is the first full season for Hixson Park, which is located at the old Bishop Manogue High School property just east of Peccole Park. Parking is available and the park can be accessed via Valley Road. For more information on tickets, please call 775.348.PACK.
