RENO, Nev. Another close match and another tough loss for the Nevada women’s team. Nevada, ranked No. 65, fell to No. 41 Boise State 4-3 on Sunday at Galena High School.

The loss dropped Nevada to 7-10 on the season. Of Nevada’s 10 losses, eight have come by a 4-3 score.

Nevada dropped the doubles point, though Alice Hall and Ly-Huong Dinh picked up an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot.

The Wolf Pack rallied back at singles, however, as Hall won in straight sets to even the match at 1. Then Dinh picked up a straight-set win at No. 6 to give Nevada a 2-1 lead and junior Caroline Bailly made it 3-1 with a straight-set win at No. 2 singles.

But the final three singles matches each went to a third set and Nevada was unable to come up with a victory in any of the matches.
