EUGENE, Ore. The Nevada women’s tennis team lost 4-3 to No. 32 Sacramento State on Saturday.

Nevada fell to 3-6 with the loss. All six of Nevada’s losses this year have come by a 4-3 margin.

Despite an 8-6 win from Maria Mizyuk and Caroline Bailly at the No. 1 doubles spot, the Pack lost the doubles point as the Hornets won at Nos. 2 and 3.

In singles play, Caroline Bailly (No. 2), Alice Hall (No. 4) and Lais Ogata (No. 6) all posted victories for the Pack. But Nevada lost at No. 1 (Mizyuk), No. 3 (Florence De Vrye) and No. 5 (Laetitia Tan, retired) and couldn’t overcome the margin.

Nevada will return to action next weekend at Long Beach State.
