RENO, Nev. The University of Nevada track and field team held a field day on Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the fourth and fifth graders at Sierra Vista Elementary School.
The event was held at the Pack’s field event site which is located by Nevada’s Christina M. Hixson Softball Park and Sierra Vista Elementary School. There were six event stations, javelin (turbo javelin), shot put (softball put), high jump, long jump, relays and hurdles. Each station lasted about 15 minutes.
