RENO, Nev. The University of Nevada track and field team will host an all-comers meet on Friday, March 14 at Mackay Stadium to prepare for the upcoming outdoor season.
Field events will begin at 11 a.m. with the javelin and will conclude at 11:40 a.m. with the high jump. Track events will begin at 2 p.m. with the 1500m and will conclude with the 800m at 3 p.m.
“This is great way for our kids to get their feet wet and get some competition in before the outdoor season gets on its way,” head coach Shantel Twiggs said.
Please note that since this is a dead period, the meet is closed to high school students in grades nine through 12.
Nevada will continue its outdoor season on March 21 and 22 at the Hornet Invitational hosted by Sacramento State.
