LOGAN, Utah The Nevada women’s tennis team picked up a victory in its first Western Athletic Conference match of the year with a dominating 7-0 win at Utah State.
The Wolf Pack won all three doubles matches and then swept the singles matches with six straight-set victories in six matches.
“It was good to get that win after some tough losses the last couple times out on the court,” coach Sylvain Malroux said. “It was a very convincing victory for us.”
Laetitia Tan won her second singles match in as many days for the Pack while junior Caroline Bailly and sophomore Mari Mizyuk did not drop a game in their victories.
