Season Review
Led by senior Meghann Morrill, the Wolf Pack has compiled a 11-1 record this season. Morrill’s highest shot in air rifle this season was a 593 against Jacksonville State University back in October. Morrill has also shot 590 three times, twice against UTEP (Sept. 30 and Oct. 14) and once against Memphis (Oct. 28).
Freshman Jessica Klatt, in her first season for the Wolf Pack, shot no lower than 579 in air rifle. Klatt shot a season-high 583 in small bore this season. She also shot a 590 in air rifle against Air Force in November.
Junior Andrew Hickey also shot a 590 in air rifle against UTEP in November. In small bore, Hickey’s highest shot this season was a 580 twice against UTEP and Memphis.
Coach Fred Harvey said in order for the Wolf Pack to qualify for the NCAA Championships, the top three regular season scores count for one half of the sum. The other half will come from qualifying this weekend. The top eight teams will be invited to the NCAA Championships in March.
