LUBBOCK, Texas The Nevada women’s tennis team picked up its first victory of the season on Sunday as the Wolf Pack beat North Texas 4-3.
Nevada is now 1-1 on the season.
The Wolf Pack picked up the doubles point with Maria Mizyuk and Ly-Huong Dinh winning at No. 1 and Florence De Vrye and Alice Hall winning at No. 3.
In singles play, Caroline Bailly (No.2), De Vrye (No. 3) and Hall (No. 4) each won in straight sets to give Nevada the win.
Nevada, ranked No. 68 in the nation, will return to action next weekend with matches against Utah and Washington State in Pullman, Wash.
