Nevada at Colorado State

Game Notes:

-          With the 82-76 win at Colorado State on Tuesday, Nevada improved to 3-3 on the year and is 2-2 on the road so far this season. The team won for the 29th time in 46 games away from home and for the 12th time in its last 23 regular-season road games.

-          Sophomore Armon Johnson led the team in scoring for the first time this season, tying his career best with 23 points on 10-of-17 shooting.

-          Nevada scored a season-high 82 points in the victory and shot a season-best 51.7 percent from the field (30-58).

-          Junior Joey Shaw turned in a career-best 21 points, while senior Lyndale Burleson and freshman Luke Babbitt each had 13.

-          For Burleson, the 13 points were a career high, while he also tied his career best with three three-pointers made. He ended up 5-of-6 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point land.

-          Babbitt and Shaw paced the team with six rebounds apiece. That marked the fourth time this year that Babbitt has led the squad in the category and the third consecutive game.

-          The Colorado State game ends a stretch of four of six on the road to start the season for Nevada.

-          Nevada returns home for four consecutive games and seven of its last eight, starting on Saturday, Dec. 6 with UNLV. Saturday’s game at Lawlor Events Center will tip off at 7:35 p.m. and can be heard on Nevada’s radio flagship, ESPN 630 AM, and its radio affiliates throughout the state.
