RENO, Nev. The University of Nevada Sports Network and Nevada's broadcast partner, MY 21 KAME-TV, will televise a total of eight men's basketball road games this year, starting with Nevada’s Nov. 18 game at San Diego.
KAME-TV (My 21) is the My Network TV affiliate in Reno, and can be seen locally on Channel 21. My 21 can also be seen on channel 7 on Charter Cable. Headed by Bob Akamian, the Tigard, Ore.-based company, bobtv, will produce Nevada’s television games this year.
Comcast SportsNet California will also carry Nevada’s games on a live or tape-delayed basis throughout the year, putting Wolf Pack basketball in the homes of fans in northern Nevada, the Bay Area and northern and central California.
In addition to the Nov. 18 game vs. the Toreros, fans can also watch the Wolf Pack on KAME and Comcast SportsNet California Dec. 20 game at California, Jan. 8 at New Mexico State, Jan. 29 at Utah State, Feb. 12 at San Jose State, Feb. 14 at Hawai’i, Feb. 26 at Fresno State and March 7 at Boise State.
Play-by-play announcer Rich Cellini and color analysts Dave Bollwinkel and former Wolf Pack head coach Len Stevens will share the announcing duties for Nevada's men's basketball broadcasts this season.
In addition to Nevada’s eight local games, the Wolf Pack is slated to appear on national television at least three times this season. ESPN2 will visit Lawlor Events Center for Nevada’s Dec. 31 game against North Carolina and its Feb. 7 contest against New Mexico State, while The Mtn. will carry Nevada’s Dec. 2 game at Colorado State.
