Led by junior Andrew Hickey and freshman Jessica Klatt, the University of Nevada rifle team turned in a victory Sunday over the University of Texas El Paso.

With a 4590-4555 victory in Reno, the Wolf Pack extends its unbeaten streak at home to 17 matched. It also mark the Pack’s seventh consecutive win over UTEP this season.

Klatt took the overall air rifle win with a shot of 588. UTEP freshman Amber Criss finished just behind Klatt with a 584. Nevada junior Sarah Smith finished the air rifle with a 581 to take third place.

Hickey shot a 570 in the small bore to give him the victory. UTEP senior Anna Crabtree shot 566 to finish behind Hickey. Smith and senior Lee Lemenager both shot a 565 to share third place.

Nevada sophomore Heather Horn shot as an individual and scored a 558 in the small bore and 574 in air rifle.

The next scheduled match for the Wolf Pack will be the NCAA Qualifier Feb. 16-17 at Fort Worth, Texas.
