What set Nevada apart in the recruiting process?
The coach promised everyday to be a sunny day
What do you like to do in your free time?
Read magazines, run, play games/sports, online shop
What is the best thing about Nevada so far?
The weather
What was your first college skiing experience like?
It was more competitive than I was expecting.
Who are your role models/idols?
The older people on the team.
What was one thing you didn’t know about Nevada that surprised you when you got here?
It’s really hot.
Do you have any nicknames?
Many: T, Tbone, Tarynitup, Bone, Tarebear, T boz...etc
What are some of your hobbies away from skiing?
Sneaker collecting
You obviously adjusted to the college skiing quickly in the spring. How were you able to adjust so fast?
Focus, drive and determination.
Did you bring anything to Nevada to remind you of home?
My baby blanket and my “travelling pants”
What attracted you to Nevada?
I knew people down here and I liked Vegas. Turns out Reno is a bit different than Vegas.
What do you think having a diverse group does for the team?
You learn about other cultures and countries.
Being from a different country, what are your impressions of Nevada and the States so far?
I’m not impressed with the shopping in Reno, but, other than that, I love it here.
How was your first experience playing at the college level this spring?
It was a blast.
What is something that very few people know about you?
I love fully loaded nachos.
You are from a very small town. Are they proud of you for what you’ve accomplished so far?
Yes. There are a lot of athletes from my town on athletic scholarships in the states.
What has been the biggest challenge in your college experience so far?
Going to class and taking notes.
Do you think you can learn as much from losing a big race as you can winning one?
I guess but it doesn’t make it worth it.
What is something not a lot of people know about you?
I like bunnies.
Do you have a pet peeve or something you can’t stand?
Followers and snobs

No, I don’t think so.
If you could go back in time, would you choose a different sport?
No way.

What is your pre-race favorite routine?
Do some warm up runs, stretch it out, have a few laughs, giver.
How would your teammates best describe you as?
Rad.
What is your best place on campus?
The squat rack
Who is the person that has most influenced your athletic career?
Coaches and older siblings because they were always there pushing me to work harder and go faster.
What is the best advice you have ever been given?
You’re only going to get out what you’re willing to put in.
If you won $1 million, what would you do?
Buy Puma Firstrounds and head to Jamaica.
If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would it be?
Temptation Island... but I think it got canned.
If you were left alone on a desert island, what would be the three things you would take with you? Ipod, sunglasses, and a boyfriend
If you had enough power or authority to shut down a fast food restaurant, which one would you choose?
Taco Bell, because it’s the only one I ever crave.
