RENO, Nev.   Junior guard Lyndale Burleson has been declared ineligible for the first semester of the 2007-08 academic year, Nevada head men’s basketball coach Mark Fox announced Monday.

“We are disappointed,” Fox said. “This is a unit issue and not grade-point average. We will work together to get Lyndale back in December.”

The 6-3, 190-pound Burleson played in 33 games with two starts last season. The Seattle, Wash., native averaged 2.2 assists and 1.7 points in 15.2 per game last year.
