Reno, Nev. The Nevada women’s tennis evened its Western Athletic Conference record at 2-2 with a 5-2 victory over Idaho on Friday at the Wilber D. May Tennis Complex.
Nevada won its second straight match and improved to 10-8 overall with the victory.
The Wolf Pack won the doubles point after winning two of the three doubles matches. Caroline Bailly and Maria Mizyuk, the 48th-ranked doubles team in the country, remained undefeated in dual play with an 8-2 victory in the No. 1 spot.
In singles play, Bailly and Mizyuk each won in the top spots and the Pack also got wins from Fiorella Velez (No. 5) and Bach-Lan Pham (No. 6).
Nevada returns to action on Saturday when it hosts San Jose State at 1 p.m.
