SANTA BARBARA, Calif. The Nevada women’s tennis team won five singles matches and the doubles point en route to a 6-1 victory at UC Santa Barbara on Saturday.

 

The win was Nevada’s second in a row as the Wolf Pack improved to 8-7 on the season. UC Santa Barbara fell to 5-6.

 

Nevada swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and then took five wins in the six singles matches. Four of Nevada’s singles wins were in straight sets and the lone loss was at the No. 3 spot, where Ly-Huong Dinh fell to Charlotte Scatliffe in three sets.

 

Nevada will return to action on April 5 when it plays host to Western Athletic Conference foe Utah State.
