Nevada Game Notes: - With the 77-71 overtime victory over 10th-seeded Creighton on Friday, seventh-seeded Nevada improved to 29-4 on the year, setting the record for wins in a single season. The Wolf Pack had previously tied the school record of 28 wins also achieved by the 1945-46 team. - The Wolf Pack also won its first-round game in the NCAA Tournament for the third time in the last five years and improved to 4-5 all time in the NCAA Tournament (2-2 under third-year head coach Mark Fox). - Junior Marcelus Kemp led four Nevada players in double figures for scoring with 27 points.
