BOISE, Idaho The 75th-ranked Nevada women’s tennis team fell Friday evening to No. 64 Boise State, 6-1, in a dual player at Boise State’s Boas Tennis Center.

 

Nevada fell to 3-3 on the season while Boise State improved to 5-0.

 

Wolf Pack freshman Maria Mizyuk got the team’s lone point as the No. 1 player topped Bianca Jochimsen in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1. Mizyuk improved to 5-1 in dual play this season and 12-e overall this season

 

Mizyuk and sophomore Caroline Bailly, the 39th-ranked doubles team in the country, knocked of Jana Mackova and Laura Baum 8-6 to improve to 6-0 in dual play and 13-3 overall. But Nevada’s other doubles teams lost and Boise State won the point.

 

Nevada is back in action on Saturday as it takes on Wichita State in Boise.
