Colorado Springs, Colo.- The University of Nevada rifle team’s fall came to a conclusion as they defeated both the University of Texas at El Paso and Air Force on the weekend of Nov. 10 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

 

Freshman Jessica Klatt shot a career record of 590 in air rifle on Sunday, joining senior Meghann Morrill and junior Andrew Hickey holding the second best individual shot of the season.

 

Morrill led the air rifle on Saturday, shooting a 587. Finishing behind her was Hickey with a 586. UTEP’s Josie Burzynski finished third with a 584 in air rifle.

 

Hickey however dominated the small bore on Saturday, shooting a 580. Senior Lee Lemenager finished behind Hickey with a 577. The closest opponent to finish behind Hickey was Air Force’s Jon Stephenson, who shot a 576.

 

Sophomore Heather Horn shot as an independent and scored a 568 in the air rifle and 573 in the small bore. On Sunday she shot a 565 in the air rifle and 563 in small bore.
